it's been a long time... i shouldn't have left you, without a dope beat to step to...

man, i can't even begin to describe the word "busy" that has taken over my life. it's been eons since i last blogged. i just checked and it's been a month and a week. do you ever feel so busy and overwhelmed that your head is literally spinning? yes, that is how i've felt. just dizzy with maniacal frantic things i need to get done. ugh, to even be able to decipher all the stuff i need to get done and do it timely and not forget things. just ignore me as i crouch down in the fetal position on the floor of my office.

so, my 26th birthday came and went. the weekend went fine and dandy. we made an evening trip on saturday to PUERTO NUEVO to get some lobster. we did insane crap de mexico shopping. blankets and trinkets galore... and toto even got to resurrect a new PONCHO. i'm thinking we should have maybe just stayed in the country because both toto and i came down with some mystery illness. i felt it the next night (which was actually my birth day) and toto felt it on monday. chakee and i went up to the OC to go pick up my wedding gown, and by that evening, i felt like i was going to die. i thought i had a migraine, but when i woke up the next morning, i had chills and i was sweating... but having the hardcore work ethic i have i went to work on monday. after being there for 4 milliseconds, i decided i was going to get some stuff done, then i was going home. so i make an appointment to go to kaiser, and went home. slept for half an hour, then woke up so andy could take me to my dr.'s appt. the nurse who took my vitals looked all freaked out and wouldn't let me go back to the waiting room because my temperature was 103.6 and my pulse was 130. both insanely high. anyway, the dr. said she was going to treat me for strep throat, but when i checked the results on my throat culture, i didn't have strep. hm, so that's why it was a mystery. but it's a good thing, that whole experience didn't taint my feelings toward puerto nuevo. i'm sure i will go back someday. oh, and i also had pf changs on sunday with chakee. i had pf changs the day of my 25th birthday, too. could it be a sign, chakee? ah, signs.

alright, i'm on a conference call at work as i type. i'm done blogging for now. may i find my way back to blogger on a more regular basis. peace out folks.

HAPPY SWEET 16, TRIZZA!!!!!!
