in cahoots... wow.

it was an interesting weekend. on friday, we didn't do anything. andy and i went to subway, where the AC wasn't on so it was a thousand degrees in there, to grab a couple sandwiches and while we started to get delirious from the heat, we were laughing cause one of the sandwich makers did something funny. he looked up at us and pretty much called us out for laughing at the subway workers, and andy told him we were just laughing at him. the dude took it in stride, but i would have rather had andy lie to him and tell him we were laughing at something else.

on saturday, i got up to battle all the other costco shoppers and just about killed myself in there cause it was madness. heat does that, i guess. i even forgot to buy hamburger patties, but remembered hamburger buns. that was a lame thing to do.

we went to justin's party. yet another fun-filled astro-jump party. kyle and andy got to smell goat being cooked, andy made a little boy cry, and i snagged myself a grab bag.

after that, andy, kyle and i went home and got ready to go to in cahoots. we got ready, picked up my friend, katie and had a good time there. that wasn't really my first country bar (we went to that one bar in arizona that had 5 different rooms, and one of them was a country room, and i also went to that one country bar in texas) but anyway, they played little stints of hip hop/pop music in between the country music, so i got to dance to that. they even played 50 cent, so that was impressive. but it was fun and the birthday girl was really happy that we went, so that made it worthwhile. we're gonna have to see if i'd ever go back. the drinks were a crap load cheaper than any bar downtown, so it definitely got points for that.

we tried mustering up energy to go to dog beach yesterday but it was too stinkin hot. man, the heat was definitely trying to kill us.

well, happy 17th birthday, chakee! 17 was a fun, great, and awesome year for me, so i hope it brings the same to you!!!
